Narn Personalities

Member of the Kha'Ri, the ruling body of the Narn people, G'Kar is an exemplary individual.

After lengthy oppression, the Narn view Babylon 5 as possible base of support in their fight against the Centauri. G'Kar is initial stationed on Babylon 5 as acting ambassador to for Narn people, his role changes constantly over time.

After the fall of Narn to Cenaturi military might and the utter detruction of its cities and culture in a massive orbital bombardment, G'Kar takes up the mantle of sole survivor of the Narn ruling cricle, and tries to help his people in any way possible, most notably by gathering support for their cause among the other races on Babylon 5.

He personally continually wanders down the path from agressive warrior to thoughtful and profound philosophical tactician. Quite notably, he develpos a close friendship with his one time nemesis, Londo Mollari.

After he escapes from Centauri captivity G'Kar achieves legendary status among his people, and is even canonized as saint and saviour to the Narn people, the return of the mythical G'Quan.

During the Centauri occupation of Narn from 2259 to 2261, Na'Far is appointed to Babylon 5 as the Narn ambassador for a short while. He has been sent to replace G'Kar, who was to return to Narn and stand trial for war crimes commited by the Narn.

The Narn population of Babylon 5 however did not accept his authority and convinced G'Kar, who was ready to leave for the sake of his people, to stay, which made the post assigned to Na'Far meaningless.
