Minbari Personalities

Delenn is surely one of the most spiritual people one could ever hope to meet. Trained as an acolyte to the Minbari ruling instance, the Grey Council, she grows up with the feeling of great power close to her.

After the disastrous first contact between Minbari and Humans, she steps into the quorum of nine, assuming the place of the fallen leader, Dukhat. Incidentally, it is her voice of (momentary) unreason, that unleashes the full power and wrath of the Minabri military might upon the humans, alnmost causing their extinction. Only the last minute interceding of the Grey Council halts the wholesale slaughter of human life (and loss of Minbari souls).

For three years Delenn acts as ambassador to the Minbari on Babylon 5, hiding her connection to the Grey Council. It is she who garners support for babylon 5 among the Minbari, along with being a primary driving force behind the Army of Light, which opposes the Shadows and their minions.

To achieve this very end, she is the one to break the Grey Council, as was prophecied by Valen. When the Minbari culture breaks apart and civial war brings strife death to every part of Minbari society, she and Sheridan do their utmost to pacify the factions and return peace to the people.

During her stay on Babylon 5, Delenn undergoes numerous trials, tests, and pain. But she also finds a soulmate in Sheridan, whom she marries. Together they head up the Interstellar Alliance, bringing peace and stability to the galaxy as a whole.

Lennier is the peronal aide to Delenn. Being born into the religious caste and beeing a member of the Third Fain of Chu'Domo, Lennier is the devout and undoubting supporter of Delenn. His loyalty to Delenn even outranks his fealty to hios own Fain, as he reveals their betrayal to the world at Dlenn's behest.

After the creation of the Interstellar Alliance, and the cessation of existence of the Grey Council, he joins the Rangers to fight on the side of the Alliance, doing great service in his time.

He grows increasingly intense with time, owing to his deep love for Delenn, which never breaks out into the open, as not to disturb those he feels attached to. "There is no sweeter sorrow, than that of unrequited love".

Draal, a Minbari, was chosen by the Great Machine on Epsilon 3 to replace it's ailing controller.

A member of the religious caste with an more academic inclination, he is deemed a worthy replacement when he visits his old student Delenn on Babylon 5.

It might be a comforting note in the back of Sheridans mind that the full power of a age-old planetary and quite possibly solar defense system within spitting distance of Babylon 5 is controlled and guided by an old and wise friend.

Neroon, is, in a word, a warrior. A proud member of the Warrior caste, he exemplifies their ideals and goals. A man of honor, but at the same of ruthless consequence.

Quite understandably he is profoundly patriotic, and quite straightforward in action. He replaced Satai Delenn on the Grey Council after her expulsion.

Voicing the opinion of the warriors in general, Neroon commented upon the revelation of the true reason of the surrender at the Battle of the Line that most likely he would not have cared, and kept on fighting.
